Fair Play Recreation Area is one of Lake Hartwell’s most open and accessible waterfront spots, offering easy parking, a sandy shoreline, and plenty of room for paddleboarding, windsurfing & winging — lessons, rentals and group sessions. With picnic tables, grills, and a large lot that accommodates cars, trailers, and RV‑style vehicles, beginner‑friendly launch area. Free Parking and Launch. Lake Hartwell State Park Bank Access provides public bank fishing access to the 56,000-acre Lake Hartwell with 30 paved parking spaces and picnic facilities.
The park features a 140-foot fishing pier, boat ramps, and a courtesy dock for anglers and boaters, along with a nature trail for exploration. Located just off I-85 near Fair Play, SC
